Email Templates

Use the Recruitment Email when reaching out to potential new coaches.

Use the Feeder System Email to send a message to coaches in a school district that does not have both middle and high school level participating.

Use Peer Network 1 Email to encourage existing coaches to reach out to others in their network that would be interested in the EMDC. The Peer Network 2 Email is to be attached to Peer Network 1 Email for EMDC Coach to use when connecting with peers.

The certificate templates are set-up in Canva. You will need to set up a free Canva account if you do not have one currently. Click “Use Template” and edit the certificates  as needed. To download, click “Share” and “Download”.

Virtual Competition Guidelines (from 2021) 

 The document linked below is to be used as a guide when implementing the Engineering Machine Design Contest virtually or online. Regional Contest Organizers can adapt these guidelines to best suit their contest needs.

Logos

Use the Engineering Machine Design Contest logo on any marketing or promotional materials. When possible include the Minnesota State Engineering Center of Excellence logo and include “Brought to you by:” in front of or above the logo. To receive any other file formats, send an email to:  engineering@mnsu.edu.

This is to be submitted within one week of competition completion. You will need the following information when completing this form.

Tabulation System

Each contest organizer will be sent their tabulation system (excel file and online judge form links/QR codes) 1-2 weeks prior to their contest. Prior to the contest, Tabulation officials should review the following tutorial videos and the Contest Organizer should complete the Team Assignments and Judges Assignments tabs.
