Advanced Components
Senior Division teams must include at least four Advanced Components in their machine design, with a minimum of one of each type: Chemical Reaction, Electrical, Mechanical, and Fluid Power. Each missing component will result in a 10-point penalty.
Junior Division teams are encouraged, but not required, to include at least two Advanced Components in their designs.

The Judging Committee has the final say on the safety of all components. Contact the contest coordinator with any questions regarding Advanced Components or specific materials.
